Update from the Board of Elders

The Board of Elders at St. Stephen's meets monthly to pray, discuss church business and try to discern where God is leading the congregation. 

Board meetings are open to anyone in the congregation and are usually held on the 4th Wednesday of the month at HeBrews Cafe. (but check the church calendar or call the office just to be sure!)

In an effort to provide good communication, we will be making monthly reports back to the congregation of important work that is taking place withing the Board and ministry teams and events that are upcoming.  Here's what was reported after the January meeting.

1.  Review of the website / improvements / approved Board minutes, financials, etc. will be posted on the congregational page – invitation to peruse the site.

2.  Applying to be a learning site to assist with Dianne’s candidacy.

3.  Announcement of having purchased a defibrillator – Show of hands to see who is trained in CPR.

4.  We are reviewing our pastoral care system

5.  Registration for Alpha

6.  Financial support for lay training is available

7.  AGM on February 26th
