Powered by the Son!

If you're driving by St. Stephen's after dark, look up on the roof as you pass by on Village Way and you will see a cross, beautifully lit up against the night sky!

Thanks to a couple of ambitious men in our congregation (Chris and Bern), solar powered lights have been added to the wooden cross on the roof. During the day, the lights are powered up by the sun and they come on automatically at dusk.  

As an added bonus, it will act as a weather station and we will know which days over the fall and winter we didn't get any sunshine!!
