Community Meals Celebrates 10 Years!

By the grace of God we started our meals program in June, 2006 and here we are 10 years later!  We serve lunch every Thursday from 11:15 to 1:00 and dinner once a month from 5:00 to 6:30pm.   We have been blessed through the support of our congregation and the community. In our ten years of Community Meals over 80,000 meals have been served and many, many friendships have been made.

We have had a week of celebrating, starting with our Thursday lunch on June 16th which marked the last day that our students would be with us before their summer break. On Friday, June 17th we had a special concert by Christina Bogucki & Ron Klusmeier to commemorate our 10 years as well as raising funds for the Meals and the Canadian Foodgrains Bank.  We rounded out our celebration last night at our monthly dinner and enjoyed cake, music and special decorations.
