Community Building

Last week the Qualicum Beach Chamber of Commerce held its annual “Community Awards” dinner. At this gathering various individuals and groups are recognized for their contributions to the town. Our congregation was nominated in the “Community Builder of the Year” category, which was, in and of itself, a great honour. To our delight—and perhaps some surprise—we actually won. Many thanks to the Chamber of Commerce (and the Vancouver Island Insurance Centres who sponsor this particular award) for honouring us in this way.
