Sunshine is pouring in the window and the screen door is open to let in fresh air. There’s an intangible excitement afoot. Just like the rainbow that represents the end of rain, the arrival of spring tells us that there will be new life and new hope.
We are cyclical beings; we need the dark and cold to appreciate the bright and warm more fully. The hills exist because of the valleys and there can’t be plains without mountains. God has provided us with a balance in this world.
Metaphorically, we also are subject to those times of high and of dry. But God carries us in the palm of His hand, whatever path we are on.
Even to your old age I am the same, even when your hair is grey I will bear you; it is I who have done this, I who will carry you to safety. (Isaiah 46:4)
We are truly his handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to lead the life of good deeds which God prepared for us in advance. (Ephesians 2:10)
I will lead the blind on their journey; by paths unknown I will guide them. I will turn darkness into light before them and make crooked ways straight. These things I do for them, and I will not forsake them. (Isaiah 42:16)
He is the Creator, He is our Father, and He loves us!!!
