The Rev. Dianne Collery joined our staff in August 2009 as our Youth and Family Minister. Dianne has been a member of St. Stephen's since 2002. She graduated with a graduate Diploma in Ministry in May 2012 and went on to complete a Master of Divinity in June 2016 from Carey Theological College. She was ordained in our denomination in June 2018. Dianne was our Associate Minister until July 1, 2020 when, we are delighted to announce, she became our Lead Minister following Rev. Phil Spencer's retirement.
Dianne is passionate about teaching, pastoral care, supporting marriages and families and helping people grow towards living out their parts in God’s great story.
Significant people in my life … are my husband Simon, my adult children, Kieran and Castley, and my dog, Clover …. and yes, my dog is a person!!
For me church is … always unpredictable!
What surprises me about this stage of my life … is that I don’t feel nearly as old as I thought I would when I used to think about being ‘this old’!!
On a really bad day I … love to curl up with a really good book.
On a really good day I … love to curl up with a really good book.
If I wasn’t living here right now, I’d love to live in … Lahaina (look it up) or in a cabin in the countryside of Ireland … curled up with a really good book in either place! I guess I have a thing for Islands, and really good books!
