Repair Cafe - another success!

On a beautiful spring day in Qualicum Beach on Saturday, April 26th , a group of 21 Repair volunteers and organizers held the second Repair Cafe of the season at St. Stephen’s. A total of 54 folks brought a range of items from vacuum cleaners and radios to toasters and lamps, as well as small furniture and clothing items to our skilled repair people. We even had a bike repair station in the parking lot.
The Town of Qualicum Beach had a table of information on their environmental programs for the public as well. The Cafe part hosted by St. Mark’s served brewed coffee/ tea and treats.
