This is a book written by an actor, Bruce Marchiano, whose life was changed by an offer to portray Jesus in a movie called “The Gospel According to Matthew” in 1992. Bruce was a man who believed in Jesus Christ as his Lord but through this film he states that he “fell in love with him”. It is a story of how Jesus revealed himself through the words of Matthew to him and the lives of all those involved. Walking in Jesus’ footsteps Bruce began a personal journey into the heart of God.  The Jesus that Bruce portrayed is one of Joy and gentleness, one who loves us all as if we were the only person on the planet.
